About our recipes
Cooks Without Borders focuses on dishes that are easy or fairly easy to prepare, whether it's a quick weeknight pasta dish or stir-fry or a lazy, relaxing weekend slow-braise. Unless otherwise indicated, all recipes are by Leslie Brenner. Some recipes will be a little more complicated, especially in the case of cookbook reviews or recipes by chefs. Most are made using ingredients you can find at any good supermarket, though some involve more specialized ingredients that are most easily found in markets catering to particular cultures. The recipes have all been thoroughly tested, whether they were created by Leslie or adapted from a cookbook, guest cook or other source.
